I just installed wildfire 3.0.1 and it looks that this problem is still present. I've tested it with Psi 0.10 and with Spark 1.1.4
Can somebody help?
Thanks,
Ante

Dont know why but now it behaves like you described. I was testing with Exodus (as user1), at first it wasnt showing contacts from Users group. But after server restart it now shows user2, though it shouldnt. The same with Spark, just Spark was showing user1 all the time, before server restart.
I think this is not documentation error but wrong behaviour. "Show group in members' rosters of these groups - the group will display only in the rosters of the groups you list in the field provided." As i can select or unselect the same group im setting option to, so its logical to be able to isolate this group's members from themselves.

Attached are screen shots to show problem.
The "Managers" group holds a single user named "manager1" and is not a shared group.
The "Users" group holds three members ("user1", "user2", and "user3") and is a shared group with only the "Managers" group selected in the "Show group to members' rosters of these groups:" option.
Spark is showing the "Users" group to both manager1 and to the members of the "Users" group.
It sounds like your system does not work the same way. Are you using Spark?
Thanks,
Greg

I dont get it. If i have group1 and group2. And if i set "Show group in members' rosters of these groups" for group1 and select group2 in the list, this will show group1 ONLY to group2 members. Group1 members wount see group1 in their rosters. Have just tested with nightly build and it works like that in 2.6.2 as i recall. Dont see any error in documentation.

The documentation for "Create a shared roster group" needs to clarify that the option:
Show group in members' rosters of these groups - the group will display only in the rosters of the groups you list in the field provided.
will show the group to members of the selected groups AND the members of the group being shared.
